Obliga · one-page overview

Obliga, in plain language

Every organization has contracts quietly governing how it runs: a lease, a software subscription, an insurance policy, a vendor agreement. Obliga makes sure their important dates never pass without the right person knowing.

The problem

Somewhere in your organization right now, a contract's renewal date is tracked in a spreadsheet, or worse, in someone's memory. That person goes on vacation, changes jobs, or simply forgets a reminder buried in their inbox. The contract quietly renews itself for another year at a price nobody agreed to, or lapses when it shouldn't have.

This happens often enough that it has a name in the contract-management world: the "missed renewal" problem, and it's consistently one of the most expensive, avoidable mistakes an organization can make.

How Obliga helps

A simplified look at how one contract's reminders are scheduled, the same view everyone in Obliga sees for every contract:

Where it lives

By default, Obliga runs on managed infrastructure we operate on your behalf, so there is nothing for your IT team to set up. People still sign in the same way they already sign in to everything else at work, with the Microsoft 365 identity they already have, so there's no new password to remember. For organizations that need their data to stay inside their own Azure environment, Obliga can deploy there instead.

Nothing to install on anyone's computer. Obliga is a web page your team opens in a browser, kept up to date centrally by whoever administers it for your organization.

Who it's for

Any organization that currently tracks contract renewals in a spreadsheet, a shared calendar, or someone's memory, and would rather it never depended on any one person remembering.

No renewal ever passes unnoticed. That's the whole idea.
