Obliga is built and supported by one developer, so you are talking to the person who wrote it. That means answers about the data model or the security posture come back straight away rather than through a support tier.

What to include

None of this is required, but a first message with any of it saves a round trip:

• Roughly how many contracts you are tracking today, and where they live now. A spreadsheet and a shared drive is the normal answer.
• Who would use it. Obliga is built for the handful of people who own renewals, not for a whole organization.
• Whether you are on Microsoft 365. If you are not, Obliga is not the right fit, and it is kinder to say so early.
• Anything your procurement or IT review will ask. Hosting, data residency, and access control are covered in the guides, and specifics are easy to answer directly.

If you are evaluating

A live walkthrough against a realistic portfolio is usually more useful than a slide deck, and takes about twenty minutes. Say so in your first message and one can be arranged.

For a technical review, how Obliga is built covers the architecture, the hosting model, and the trade-offs, including the parts that count against it. Sending that to your IT reviewer ahead of a call tends to make the call shorter.
